Respect among all members is essential for the integrity of our community. Everyone deserves to be treated fairly and kind, whether you are a family or sitter within the community. We will not tolerate members being mistreated, whether physical, emotionally, or verbally in our community.
Honesty
We expect all members within our community to be honest and trustworthy with any information shared on the platform. Misleading information will result in your account being reviewed, which could lead to suspension from the Backupz Community. Backupz reserves the right to suspend a member’s account at our sole discretion.
Safe
In order to protect the integrity, privacy, and security of our community. Backupz as well as our members have to work together to ensure a culture of safety. As a member within our community, you have sole discretion to approve/accept a job listing. If you deem a job unsafe or feel that your safety is compromised, please reach out to our support team for assistance right away!
Transparency
Backupz ensures transparency with information, which is why members receive as much information as possible, including ratings, skills, experience, and profiles. We’re unable to disclose member’s personal information or account history to members and/or third parties.
Equality

Drug Free Community
Backupz is committed to a safe and drug-free platform for all members. The possession, solicitation, use of illegal drugs, or being under the influence of any kind, while on a job is prohibited and will not be tolerated. Members who chose to violate this policy will have their account permanently suspended and removed from the Backupz platform.

Covid-19
In order to truly support both families and childcare professionals, we ask that our community lead with honesty, integrity and transparency as it relates to your health and those in your household. It’s essential for the safety and well-being of our community that everyone exercises effective communication, when creating and accepting jobs.
It is critical that members provide accurate information for the health and safety of our community. If you or a member of your household is exposed, have been exposed, or suspect to have been in close proximity to someone exposed to COVID-19, we ask that you communicate this vital information to your selected sitters or booked family. It’s imperative that you communicate your health status within a timely manner. We ask that you cancel all upcoming jobs and refrain from creating listings and/or accepting jobs, until your health improves. Please follow our cancellation procedures.
Backupz does not require our community to wear masks, please adhere to individual preference, CDC standards, and your local health department website for the most-up-to date information and guidelines. Sitters are only required to wear a mask, if requested by the family.
